The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) released the schedule of most anticipated Asia Cup 2023. The tournament will start on August 30 and will go on till September 17. Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be hosting the matches but the opening match will be played in Pakistan on August 30 at Multan.
The tournament will be a 50-over ODI tournament and it will include 13 ODI matches, 4 out of them will be held in Pakistan and the rest 9 will be played in Sri Lanka. The first clash between Indian squad and Pakistani squad will be held on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka.

Asia Cup men’s One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket tournament. It was established in 1983 by Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The sole aim of the Asia Cup was to promote goodwill between Asian countries.
The first Asia Cup was held in 1984 in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates where the council’s offices were based (until 1995). The Asian Cricket Council was diminished in size in 2015. The International Cricket Council (ICC) declared that starting in 2016, Asia Cup matches would alternate between ODIs and T20 International formats in accordance with the format of upcoming international competitions.
The 16th Asia Cup will be organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). In September 2023, Pakistan will host the Asia Cup. The event will feature participation from the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council.
